New Skin Care Favorites

February 19, 2016

Brought to you by BrandBacker
Over the last few months I've been slowly introducing new products into my skin care routine. I found a regime that really works for me last year (read about it here), so I've have been hesitant to add anything else; however, I took the plunge with the following products and have really been enjoying the benefits!

1) Valentia Eye Cream - I AM OBSESSED with this eye cream! For someone with ultra dark undereye circles, like myself, the Valentia eye cream is a God-sent. It does exactly what it says - hydrates and brightens. I use this morning and night, and my skin is left soft and supple. It wears beautifully under makeup as well. I even layer it with a color corrector and a concealer. Best part, it's available on Amazon and is super affordable ($25!). FYI - the brand was nice enough to offer my readers a 20% off coupon code (RIGHTFAB). Please note that the offer expires in one month.

2) Valentia Hydrating Face Mask - Much like its eye cream counterpart, this mask does what it says - hydrates! With the brutal winter we've been having on the East Coast, my skin has been unbearably dry and this product has been fantastic at preventing flaking. I would recommend this 1-2 times per week in order to prevent any excessive oiliness. Don't forget about that 20% if you want to give it a try.

Additionally, Valentia's products are organic, vegan, cruelty-free and made in the USA! I do my best to only use cruelty-free beauty products, so this was a huge plus for me.

3) Pixi Beauty Glow Tonic - This is a beauty cult classic, and now understand why. With ingredients like glycolic acid, this toner is able to gently exfoliate the skin. I've used this since the beginning of January and have seen a significant difference in my skin texture. I still use my all-time favorite Michael Todd toner, but like to swap it out with Glow Tonic about 3 times per week.

4)  Boots Hydrating Day Cream - I received this in an Influenster box about two months ago, and I've really been enjoying it. It's perfect under makeup because it's lightweight yet moisturizing. It also works well under a primer. At a $12 price point with availability at Target, I highly recommend this for anyone with normal-to-combination skin.
