#ReadyToBeRivera: Our Journey to "I Do"

It's been a hot minute since I've shared any wedding-related updates. Today's post will be the first of my new bridal series "#ReadyToBeRivera". As the name indicates, that is going to be our hashtag for all things on our journey to finally becoming Mr. and Mrs.. My gorgeous Maid of Honor Lauren, who runs The Blushing Bridal Guide, came up with it. I have to admit, it really is perfection. Be sure to head over to her site and subscribe...Did I mention she works for Kleinfeld Bridal? So, you're not going to want to miss a single post from her! I feel like the luckiest girl to have her as my bestie and MOH. Check out here "How She Asked" post detailing our special brunch from last weekend.

This past weekend Will and I took our engagement pictures. We were so fortunate to have good weather and a great photographer. Our photorgapher's name is Lily and she runs Jieru Photography. We started our session off at the Malvern Buttery in Malvern, PA. They have the cutest mint-colored mugs. Will loves coffee and I've come to be a latte-lover myself, so it was a great place to capture some sweet moments. The second half of our session took place at Valley Forge National Park. As you may recall, Will proposed at a park in Staten Island that had a lot of history for the two of us, so we adore a beautiful park. Valley Forge is absolutely breathtaking in the Fall, so we wanted to take advantage.

Since we're all about style on Right to Remain Fab, below are the details of engagement photo outfits.

I apologize for the inferior quality of some of the pictures. They are all mainly previews from Instagram since Lily is currently working on our editing our 200+ shots. We'll have access to all of the high resolution ones in a few weeks. I'm still deciding whether to publicly post the gallery link for personal reasons, but if I do ultimately decide against it, I will certainly share some of my favorites on the blog.

I hope you've enjoyed the first post in the #ReadyToBeRivera series! Thank you so much for reading.
