Have you ever wanted to be a "celebutant" or how about "red, white, and wealthy"? Well, those aren't necessarily goals the average 20-something strives for, but they are the sassy titles of Trust Fund Beauty's nail polish collections. This awesome brand comes to us from Canada and totes the impressive 5-free concept. 5-free refers to the non-toxic quality of the nail polish. All the nasty chemicals of ordinary nail polish have been completely eradicated from this lacquer brand.
In addition, the polishes are cruelty-free, which I adore. As a animal lover, I am always aware of testing done by the cosmetic brands I use. For other great cruelty-free products from a high-quality, affordable makeup brand that I merchandise for, click here.
A few weeks ago Trust Fund Beauty was kind enough to send me a sample of two polishes: 1. Sex Tape, a vibrant perfect hot pink & 2. Kiss Kiss Darling, a staple deep red
- super high quality for the price point ($15/polish)
- large amount of polish in bottle
- easy, precise application thanks to elongated brush and handle
- 3 thin coats works best to achieve proper color saturation
- dries smooth and shiny in about 3-5 mins
- long lasting with any regular or quick-dry top coat
Overall, I would highly recommend this polish for anyone looking for ethical, non-toxic, quality nail lacquer. There is a wide range of colors with adorably fun, bitchy names, such as "I Wore It Better", "Is He Rich?", and "Elegantly Wasted". Also, while dropping $15 on a nail polish may seem absurd to some, you get a lot of bang for your buck. The bottles are huge considering the relatively petite size of other high-end nail polish. I would suggest investing in one classic and one fun color. Choose your fun color depending on the season. With fall fast approaching, I love "I Look Good Nude" (neutral) and "Rich & Infamous" (deep navy).
